FOUNDATION VAN BUILDER (THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED)

Overview: We are looking for a talented/skilled and reliable person to join our Foundations team to help build “phase one” of our customized van interiors. We mostly convert Mercedes Sprinter Vans and Ford Transits into camper vans and industry vans, although we also work with other makes and models occasionally.

Responsibilities will include paneling walls and ceilings, insulating, flooring, and installing fans, heaters, air conditioners, windows, and other components.

Requirements
-Attention to detail ***This is very important.
-Experience with power tools
-Ability to safely operate tools/ use appropriate PPE
-Basic experience with wood working
-Jig saw wizardry
-Ability to calculate precise measurements (These vans are not square) -Creative solutions and problem solving
-Open to learning and receiving feedback
-Follow directions and ask for clarification/help when needed
-Ability to work independently and in a small team -Strong work ethic and communication
-Skills and knowledge to contribute to the build -Must love dogs

Pluses
-Ability to read and understand build plans
-Experience converting a van

 SYSTEMS VAN BUILDER – AC/DC ELECTRICAL

(THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED)

Overview
: We are looking for a qualified/skilled person to work with us to build customized van interiors, specifically installing the water and electrical systems of the van. We mostly convert Mercedes Sprinter Vans and Ford Transits into camper vans and industry vans, although we also work with other makes and models occasionally.

Responsibilities will include installing auxiliary battery systems, auxiliary lighting, solar power systems, 12vdc and 110vac outlets, ventilation fans, diesel air cabin heaters, back up cameras, fuse blocks, and other camper van electrical needs, as well as fresh water and gray water systems, outdoor showers, high pressure hose kits, electric water heaters, and interior showers. Additional duties may include installing sinks, stove tops, toilets, and refrigerators.

1/2 hour unpaid lunch break per day

CABINET BUILDER / CARPENTER

(THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED)

Overview:  We are looking for a qualified/skilled person to work with us to build customized van interiors. We mostly convert Mercedes Sprinter Vans and Ford Transits into camper vans and industry vans, although we also work with other makes and models occasionally.

Responsibilities will mostly include building kitchen galleys, bench seats, countertops, tables, bed platforms, cabinets, systems enclosures, paneling, wet rooms and various carpentry.

  • 3+ years of finish carpentry experience

  • Broad knowledge of and experience with power tools
  • Ability to safely operate tools/ use appropriate PPE

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion, and 10-25lbs frequently.
